Scommetto che anche voi siete dei fan de Il Trono di Spade…per festeggiare la prossima uscita della nuova serie, con qualche paio di vecchi guanti, ho pensato di realizzare dei pupazzi da dito di due dei miei personaggi preferiti: Daenerys e Drogon. Si fanno davvero in poco tempo e ve li potrete portare in ufficio. Si, in ufficio per fare i dementi con i colleghi e affogare in un delirio nerd. Se invece avete bisogno di un piccolo ripassino su Il Trono di Spade potete sempre affidarvi a I Diti, gli unici e soli che vi racconteranno qui tutte le serie in pochi minuti e senza spoilerare! Li avete già visti? Ecco da dove è venuta l’idea dei pupazzi da dito!
OCCORRENTE DROGON:
Un dito di un vecchio guanto nero
Filo di lana nero
Ago da lana
Sagome di panno lenci nero per ali e muso (scarica il template qui)
Forbici
Ago e filo da cucito nero
Perline rosse
PROCEDIMENTO:
Con ago e filo, cuci le due sagome del muso in fondo al dito del guanto, una su un lato ed una sull’altro in odo che le due punte sporgano in fondo.
Fissa le ali con lo stesso ago e filo sul “dorso” del tuo pupazzo, aggiungi due perline rosse per gli occhi. Volendo puoi aggiungere qualche perlina bianca
sul bordo delle due punte del muso per simulare i denti. Taglia dei pezzettini di lana nera da circa 6 cm, infilali a metà ed inserisci la parte del cappio nella cruna dell’ago da lana. Inserisci l’ago vicino al bordo della sagoma del muso del dragoe fallo uscire subito dopo, togli l’ago ed infila nel cappio le due estremità del filo, in modo da creare una frangia.Ripeti lo stesso procedimento a piacere sul corpo del drago, creando una specie di punte.
OCCORRENTE DAENERYS:
Un dito di un vecchio guanto rosa
Filo di lana giallo o bianco (per i capelli)
Un piccolo scampolo di tessuto bianco
Ago da lana
Filo da ricamo rosa e marrone
Forbici
Ago e filo da cucito rosa
Un pezzetto di catenella in metallo.
PROCEDIMENTO:
Taglia tanti pezzetti di lana per i capelli da circa 8 cm facendo un nodino ad ogni estremità. Infila ogni pezzetto nell’ago ed infilalo in fondo al dito del guanto, dall’interno verso l’esterno, togli l’ago e tira l’estremità in modo da far bloccare il filo dal nodo.Ripeti il procedimento varie volte in modo da creare la capigliatura di Daenerys.Fai attenzione a fare la scriminatura centrale e a mettere molti più fili attorno al viso in modo da poter fare delle treccine che poi legherai tra loro dietro la testa, creando la tipica acconciatura.
Ricama occhi e bocca con il filo rosa e marrone. Per il vestito, taglia il tessuto bianco a triangolo equilatero ed infilauno dei vertici in una delle maglie della catenella, che avrai tagliato a misura della circonferenza del dito. Fissa con ago e filo la catenella attorno al collo del pupazzetto e fai lo stesso con il tessuto del vestito che avevi infilato nella catenella, ripiegandolo sotto.Crea un vestito chiudendo gli altri due lati del triangolo sul retro del pupazzetto ed accorcia il vestito a piacere.

To celebrate the upcoming new series release, I thought of making some finger puppets with an old pair of gloves of two of my favorite characters: Daenerys and Drogon. They can be done in a very short time and you can bring them to the office. Yes, to the office to do silly games with your colleagues and drowning in a nerd delirium.Didn’t you think they were children stuff, right?
WHAT YOU REQUIRE FOR DROGON:
A finger cut from a black glove
Black yarn
Knitting needle
Black cloth shapes for wings and snout (download the template here)
Scissors
Sewing needle and black thread
Little red beads
PROCEDURE:
With sewing needle and back thread, sew the two silhouettes of the snout at the bottom of the finger, one on the front side and one on the back one so that the two tips will protrude at the top.
Fix the wings with the same needle and thread on the “back” of your puppet, add two red beads for eyes. If you want you can add some white beads
on the edge of the two tips of the snout to simulate teeth. Cut small pieces of black wool from about 6 cm, fold in half and insert the loop in the eye of the needle.
Insert the needle close to the edge of the muzzle and let it going out immediately after, remove the needle and insert the two ends of the yarn through the loop to create a tassel.Ripeat the same procedure as many times as you like on the body of the dragon, creating a kind of tips.
WHAT YOU REQUIRE FOR DAENERYS:
A finger cut from a pink glove
Yellow or white wool yarn (for the hair)
A small white fabric scrap
Knitting needle
Embroidery floss in pink and brown
Scissors
Sewing needle and pink thread
A little piece of metal chain.
PROCEDURE:
For the hair, cut small pieces of wool of about 8 cm making a knot at the end.Insert each piece in the needle and insert the yarn from the inside outwards, then remove the needle and pull the ends so to lock the yarn.Repeat the process several times in order to create the hair of Daenerys.Pay attention to make the center parting and put many strands around the face so you have enough to make the braids which you will bind to each other behind the head, creating her typical hairstyle.
Embroider eyes and mouth with the pink and brown floss. For the dress, cut the white fabric in a triangular shape and insert one of the points inside the mesh of the chain, that you already cut as long as your finger’s circumference. Fix with some thread the chain around the neck of the puppet and sew the fabric of the dress you had already slipped into the chain, folding it behind..Create a dress by closing the other two sides of the triangle on the back of the puppet and shorten the dress as you like .
