Devo dirlo, non amo San Valentino particolarmente, ma impazzisco per ricami in lana e maglioni jaquard Fair Isle. Come rendere il romanticismo affettato del 14 febbraio qualcosa di portabile senza sembrare una pazza o patetica ? Come mettere insieme cuori, Keith Haring ed anfibi, insomma? Ecco la mia idea, da fare in un’ora!
Occorrente:
1 gomitolo di lana per i cuori (rosso, ma potrebbero essere anche rosa, o gialli o neri, perché no?)
1 avanzo di lana di un secondo colore
Uncinetto 4 o 4.5 (io ho usato quelli con il manico in gomma di Clover, che avevo recensito qui)
Ago da lana senza punta
Filo da cucito nel colore dei cuori
Forbicine
Ago da cucito
Spilli (quelli meravigliosi che ho usato io sono di Puntini Puntini)
Un maglione/cardigan/felpa Fz rinnovare (potrebbe essere anche per bambina!)

I must say, I do not like Valentine Day much, but I’m crazy for wool embroidery and Fair Isle type sweaters. Then, how to make 14th february’s romance something wearable without lookinging crazy or pathetic? How to put together hearts, Keith Haring and DcMartens boots, in short? Here’s my idea, do it only in an hour!
You will need:
1 ball of yarn for the hearts (red, but may also be pink, or yellow, or black, why not?)
1 wool scraps in a second color (I choose white)
Crochet hook size 4 or 4.5 (I used Clover ones)
Knitting needle
Sewing thread in the same color of hearts yarn
Scissors
Sewing needle
Pins (those wonderful I used are from Puntini Puntini)
A plain sweater / cardigan / sweater
Start with 30 chains
1°-4°round: all simple crochet
Once you have a little stripe, fold it in the middle along the lenght and sew it to have a sort of rope.
Sew togheter the two ends, this will be the “point” of your heart, fold the rounded part in the middle and sew it too to have the upper part of your heart.
Repeat to have at last 3 hearts, a bigger one (30 starting chains) and 2 smaller (25 starting chains).
Sew them with the sewing thread without crushing it too much.
If you want you can add some simple embroidered crosses with the other wool yarn.
Ps: I managed to do a video too, it’s in italian but I think it’s helpful anyway, I hope you like and that will help you to better understand the steps!
